La Casita is one of our favorites in Miami. I almost don’t want to write this review because I don’t want the word to get out. If you’re looking for delicious Cuban food without the craziness and lines of neighboring spaces, this place is it. We’ve always had excellent service here. The limonada con menta, tostones, and the baby palomilla are some of our favorites.

I took my cousin who was visiting from Seattle and wanted Cuban food. We had croquettes for appetizers, they were crunchy and tasted good. He ordered palomilla steak with fried bananas, rice and black beans. I had the chicken vaca frita with tostones, black beans and rice. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious.

Loved The food!!! I had a Lamb Shank in red wine sauce it was tender, delicious, and a good portion too, fresh fried Tostones and white rice, also had an xtra order of Yucca with mojo. It was my first time there and I will keep on going. Muy Rico!!
